That's a freudian slip - blanch (go pale) instead of balance. I would completely pay off one card rather than maintain a balance on both, to minimize interest paid. :)
@anon - we dont consider our roommates portion of rent and utilities as income. We split everything three ways :). As we don't own the place I dint think taxes apply to us.
What about your entertainment, grocery and gas amounts for the month?
