All it said was "I love you," but it conveyed everything that I needed it to convey. I don't know what her intention had been, but it helped me with so many of the personal issues that I was going through in dealing with their deaths, simple as the gesture might seem.mmarinaahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16530766837837932504noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6337895450730818700.post-30436277806873421312012-06-20T16:10:17.817-06:002012-06-20T16:10:17.817-06:00All this...All this...Jessie's Momnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6337895450730818700.post-59785619132344460552012-06-20T10:49:37.523-06:002012-06-20T10:49:37.523-06:00Jessie, whatever is going on in your life right no...Jessie, whatever is going on in your life right now that makes this article relevent to you and your family has me praying for you. Please know you are in my thoughts.

While I lost my father 11 months ago, I find this article actually more relevent to the grieving process I am going through in relation to my daughter's diagnosis and illness 13 months ago. She has a chronic, incurable condition and I have gotten some seriously insensitive comments from well-meaning people who were just trying to say something to make me feel better about the situation, but what I really want from people is understanding of our new limitations as a family, to not pass judgement on how we are trying to manage her illness, and to recognize that we are, in fact, grieving the loss of the life she would have led had she not gotten ill.

Thanks for sharing!Mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01748705005786498840noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6337895450730818700.post-33991194636000614982012-06-20T10:24:30.678-06:002012-06-20T10:24:30.678-06:00I lost my father last year, so I can understand ho...I lost my father last year, so I can understand how you're feeling. I'm getting very tired of people saying "It will get better" or "Give it time". Part of me is sure this is true, but them saying that doesn't help me in the moment.
